How does it work?

Potassium is an essential mineral and electrolyte needed for many functions in the body such as blood pressure control, intracellular acid-base balance, muscle contraction, nerve and heart function, hydration, fluid balance and pH regulation.1 Most people obtain their potassium status through the diet as it is found abundantly in plant foods, however those with a limited diet, take certain medications or have experienced potassium loss through excessive exercise, urination or diarrhoea may be potassium deficient.2

What results can be expected?

Potassium supplementation may help restore electrolyte balance in the body as well as treat and prevent deficiency in those at risk of low potassium levels.3
